This 87 mix and the one from 86 were both indeed created by Carlos Berrios as his first vinyl releases. Hard to get a count on how many these things sold, but from 1979 on, most DJ Medley Mixes were considered to be holy grail and I would estimate these to have been pressed in tens of thousands and maybe 40,000-50,000 went out to the stores.
