When we announced the reunion of Alphataurus in 2010, after over 35years of silence, many people waited for the usual odd nostalgiaconcert without major consequences.This proved not to be true, as the gig of November 6 was a memorableevent for the lucky 700 people who came at the Bloom in Mezzago, areally great gig for passion and energy and the few who were luckyenough to see the band yesterday and today, confirm that Alphataurushas not lost an ounce of energy and enthusiasm that made them, fortyyears after their only LP, one of the most esteemed and beloved bandsof the Italian seventies prog scene. After the success of that showAlphataurus did not stop, as the band promised to return on stage andstudio permanently. As a first comeback, we propose the professionalrecording of that memorable evening, witnessing one of the greatestlive comebacks of Italian prog.
