In the sea of releases (it's estimated at 40,000 per week) this is one of those, which floats to the top, as cream always does. I wouldn't like to categorise Vakula's music, other than to say, it's generally fantastic and transcends many styles. He knows what he's doing, I can imagine his discography will just grow and grow, generously dispersed with gems like this

I've heard this figure a few times from different sources (inc' Kerri Chandler on one on his records!) but being purely upon vinyl was not specified. Doing the basic maths, if there are 40,000 releases per week, there are approx 195 countries in the world, which works out at 205 releases per country per week. Taking all styles, sub styles and genre's into account from classical to hardcore industrial gabber, it could indeed be 40,000 vinyls per week worldwide. I doubt it though.

i know certain artists shit digital releases in their sleep, so that wouldn't surprise me!

surely there aren't 40000 vinyl releases per week?
