I wouldn't recommend purchasing this. Not because of the music, but because of the thoughtless, poorly executed attempt at being artistic by including actual dirt (a lot of dirt!) in the packaging. They should have done the right thing and warned potential buyers before letting people purchase a release where the media and packaging has been ruined. If it wasn't all already ruined before being shipped, it was certainly ruined by the time it arrived in the mail. I think they must have known there was a problem or they wouldn't have poorly attempted to seal the dirt within the perimeter of the release by sealing it with some kind of plastic around it (that didn't work either!). To make matters worse, the dirt not only ruins the release, but also potentially anything in the same vicinity of the release, and/or potentially anything in the same vicinity of where the release has been. Also, I wouldn't even think about playing the cassette unless you also want to ruin your player and anything else played in it afterwards. Granted, I never even got far enough through the packaging to see the cassette, but I can only imagine!I had ordered this directly from the label/artist on their Bandcamp page where there was no mention of the dirt unless you count one of the promotional images with the clean box and contents surrounded by a different kind of dirt. The promotional image really communicates nothing as it just looks like an image made for artistic promotional purposes. Besides not even being the same kind of dirt, other labels/artists have produced similar promotional images of their own releases where it's not supposed to be taken to mean that actual dirt is included. In addition, as I said, it's not even the same kind of dirt. The dirt included with this release is much darker and finer.I knew that there was going to be trouble as soon as I opened the mailer. There was dirt everywhere inside the mailer even though the release was technically still (poorly) sealed. As I removed the still (poorly) sealed release from the filthy mailer, my hands were becoming more filthy. I placed the still (poorly) sealed release on a counter and tried to decide what to do next. I lifted the release off the now filthy counter to take a look a look at how the label/artist had poorly attempted the seal the dirt within the perimeter of the release by placing plastic all around the outside perimeter of the packaging. I decided that I was just going to throw the release away before the dirt spread everywhere. At this point, the mailer, my hands, my clothes, the floor, and the counters were already covered in dirt. However, before throwing it away, I decided I might try to unseal the poorly sealed plastic that was placed all around the perimeter of the packaging to see if I could take a further look at how much dirt there was inside the packaging. I guess I was wondering if anything could be salvaged without too much trouble. I already knew that there was no way in hell that I would ever attempt to play what must be an already ruined cassette as it could potentially permanently ruin my player and anything played in it after that. That means, essentially, that the label/artist sold a cassette that was knowingly defective and could ruin anything that came into contact with it (including electronics) and/or anything played in the same machine. Anyway, I started to unseal all of the poorly sealed plastic placed around the perimeter of the packaging while more dirt continued to get everywhere, but I soon gave up as the filth continued to spread. At that point, it all just went in the trash. When I brought these issues up to the label/artist, all I got in return was a patronizing, condescending, inconsiderate and smug response along the lines of "Haven't you ever bought a noise release before?"Well, since you ask, I've bought a large number of "noise" releases over many years and decades, and I've never seen one that was packaged in such a way that it ruined the media itself along with potentially ruining anything in the same vicinity of the release, and/or potentially ruining anything that is the same vicinity of where the release has ever been. At the very least, any sensible "noise" label/artist would warn you in advance of selling you knowingly defective products that could also cause damage to other things.A more appropriate response from the label/artists would have been to apologize for selling a knowingly defective release that wasn't advertised as defective, and to also apologize for wasting your time and money, and to offer to refund you at least for the cost of the release and the shipping costs. Never mind apologizing for anything else that was potentially ruined by sending you a box of dirt, and for wasting your time for having to clean up messes caused by the box of dirt.

I understand what you are trying to describe and also all your strong disapointment.

It looks like, according to you profile, you are in France, so the package didn't have to travel nearly as far to reach you as it did to reach me. Also, the page states "hand-made variant packages" so I guess perhaps that there wasn't as much dirt with your copy.By the time I received my package, there was dirt everywhere and no only did the label/artist not apologize, but tried to justify it by saying "Haven't you ever bought a noise release before?" which is a piss-poor, patronizing, condescending, inconsiderate and smug response to someone that has received what is now a defective product due to the poor packaging. Not only is it defective, but it could also ruin a number of other things.I noticed that this release is being sold elsewhere on Juno Records along with statement "No Returns Accepted". If there wasn't really a problem with this release, they wouldn't have to say that because they rarely do the same for any other music purchases.

My copy is 100% sealed even the plastic bag is very thin. No dark ground in the tape, the black and white cardboard paper art work is also clean. Actually, the Liber Null crew haven't mentioned anything about the packaging to certainly create a surprising shock. I love all the hand made packaging, the art work on and in it. It'one of my best crazy tape i have. This don't leave me brathe again. LorenaBlack.
