Edition with the small pressing ring around the spindle hole, so not pressed and released prior to summer 1972.Released in a full-color 3-fold die-cut flyout sleeve - which opens to a circle. The disc is housed in an inner sleeve that contains the lyrics to the songs on the record.

This edition, along with the below mentioned counterfeit, contain some extra music at the end of the LP. As The Supermen fades out a short section of Saviour Machine is heard. It appears this was the original intention, though not employed on the other Mercury editions, as a very brief section can be heard, very quietly, on the later RCA editions (i.e., it's on the master tape)
Not to confuse with this counterfeit. Genuine copies have machine-stamped matrices while the counterfeits have hand-scratched ones.
