This time we want to introduce you a Rome-based project, that is Alexia Robbio.
She lets our creature collapse this time into deep and emotional drones, built around northern and polar atmospheres. Rhytmic elements sprout both shy and chaotic from textures' long reverbs and echoes. Life pullulates under the frozen ground, such as the electronic experimentations enclosured under the dormant chrysalis of the Embryo Series.
This mix is a live set, that includes tracks from the Emotions EP, released by Agosta Records and Stirpe 999 Antilabel, plus three unreleased tracks. She tells us about her ideas beneath the work.. "Emotions is derived from latin ex-movère, that stands for 'to transport out'. Impulses generated in the brain, subjected to chemical and electric transformations: energy that needs to be dissipated. Only an answer to impulses". An attempt to capture entropy, through electronica.
