Astralasia has many wonderful songs and most of those wonderful songs are not on this release, but I purchased this for the Special song called "Who are you". Beautiful little song with a really great vibration. "Who are you" is also available on a special 7 inch promo EP that the group gave away in a slightly longer version. I bought that after I realized I could get a longer version of "Who are you". Only 50 of those were made so it might be tough to get a copy. Fortunately you can get it here.

The pinnacle of Astralasia, in my opinion - the album that saw them dive headfirst into psychedelic trance, but with a very unique twist. Instead of the typical blippy bass drums and rezzy synth leads of most goa/psy of the time, Seven Pointed Star is much deeper, more atmospheric and ambient, and only the first half of the album is trance. The second half goes back to the group's dub & downtempo roots and is a mixture of swirling melodies, spacey sound effects and extremely chill vibes. An album of extremes, Seven Pointed Star is wonderful and rare and a must-have for any fan of trance and ambient.
