Nitpicking: My copy of this has MPO intact on the runout as opposed to crossed out, otherwise identical. Does that count as a separate entry?

Full on Belgium Techno from Joey Beltram.Huge tune back in 1991 - pack full of energy with its driving techno rhythms, huge synth rave stabs and a whole load of other sample put to great effect. Take your pick on the mixes they are both checking out.

God knows what Joey Beltram was on when he came up with this one, but compared to "Joey's Riot", "Energy Flash" or "Code 6" you would swear it was by a different artist altogether. The only point of comparison is in the drum programming ! Definitely one to avoid for true Beltram fans.

ALSO INCLUDES SAMPLE OF LED ZEPPELINS "WHOLE LOTTA LOVE"

I have to disagree Andy... still holds as much energy as it did back then. It's a belter!

Hahhahahha....just silly now. I love Joey Beltram more than his Mum but this isn't one of his better productions. I thought it was great 20 years ago when Disco Biscuits were the in-thing but time moves on and sadly, compared to tunes like Energy Flash, Mind To Mind and Joey's Riot, it doesn't hold water. Still, it raises a smile.

I'm with Andy. None of the quality of a Beltram tune in evidence here, just a cliché every 4 bars

have to agree here I like all Joey's stuff this is no different Omen is a great track maybe nostalgia but I would listen to this today and I'm back in the day.

Guess it depends on what you look for in a track!I love The Omen, but then again I am a fan of oldschool rave in general. This won't appeal to people who prefer the more straight, minimal techno approach.
