Nilasida
This is a well mastered pressing. Very low noise floor, deep bass and nice punch in the midrange. The highs are nice and smooth but not exaggerated - channel separation is good but not super wide - most of the sound seems to hit my ears just left of center. My only very minor complaints are that they could have taken advantage of the right channel a bit more and that some of the cymbal work sounds a bit compressed during busy passages. Snare sound on this album is killer. Generally speaking, this record seems to be set up a lot like they're positioned on stage when they play live, with guitar/vocals on left, bass on right, drums in back center. All in all this pressing is a joy to listen to and I'm of the opinion that Visitations is destined to become a stoner rock classic.
