The Song "Feuerkreis" it's probably the more vivid and strong,really heart-crushing and inspiring.A strange mix between the unaware happiness of a distant past and the reality that comes from the death of dreams and the fall of an ideal through development and time. This song may be pointed as the heart of the album, musically and structurally, the rest of the songs are just beautiful and complementary. The cover artwork is a very expressive picture that perfectly fits with the theme and objective of the work. The face of a young boy that seems to be a member of the Hitler Jugend, his face as the work itself shows so many things: That odd determination, volcanic passion and subtle melancholy. A different point of view as a reflection of the favourite time period of the past century and the adventure of the idealism of action, exhausted today. Strong example of good classic neo-folk, as usual for Darkwood.
