Anybody know how this record was printed? It's not standard lithography as some of the black print is peeling up on my copy. It's not silkscreened either.

Stumbled onto this band by chance. Two albums were in a large lot I acquired, one being this release. Blown away on first listen by the creativity, and the left field approach to song structure. The lead vocalist has a tiny, yet larger than life voice. It seems out of place at first, but once the initial shock wears off it makes perfect sense. I could not imagine a better front for the sound of this band. Some songs are almost "normal" by standard thinking. Then they have you on the ropes with chunky guitar riffs, frantic yet hypnotic percussion, hints of electronica, and walls of sound that seem chaotic.... But then blend together so effortlessly, as if it had always been that way. I might have never known about this band , so I'm very happy fate put a copy in my hands. DEERHOOF has made a new fan. If you listen to this album, I'm confident you will be as well.

My copy of this (reissue strawberry) skips on track "dog on the sidewalk" and loops. The bass frequencies I suspect are poorly mastered.. causing the cartridge to jump out of groove. A bit of extra weight solved the problem but still, I'm not super happy with this. Back then I didn't know black vinyl sounds better.
