Volume 2 is by far the best release in Luke Slaters xtront series of recordings. One and three are definatly worth checking, but number two is a must have.It contains a varied selection of fantastic peaktime, dark and hard techno guaranteed to blow the roof of any venue. This double also has a selection of sublime ambient techno which Luke has become well known for.Top tracks for me are the stomping sea serpant/splitting atoms/moave violin and colonial space, all winners.Xtront 2 came out hot on the heels of Jeff Mills Waveforms Volume 1 and certainly both compliment each other. Can you own one and not the other?
