"LUCKY STARZ" uses those same aerial chords as previously heard in "STRATOSPHERE". In my opinion that last tune is far better, though. By contrast, the flip-side here deserves all my praise !What a driving one !!! "DREAMZ" is somptuous and stands among his best tracks, along with above-mentioned "Stratosphere", "Naomiz tune" (on Fokuz sublabel Expressions), classic "Lakez", "Azure" (on Covert Operations), less noticed but rather lovely "Miles and miles from Marz" (on Logical Progression #4 lp), the sublime "Future echoez" and some on Nookie's Strictly Digital label like "Meanz something" (impressive one !) & "She returnz".

LGR031 - J-LAZE After LGR027's outstanding 'Lazy Dayz', Rob Blazye delivers another top quality 12". Check this, and forthcoming cuts on Progression Sessions 5 and Logical Progression 4. LUCKY STARZ This is a track on an extremely chilled rolling vibe. The tight, minimal percussive beats carry an assortment of oriental timpani clangs and crashes, all served with immaculate production. In amongst the slick pad interplay and subtle FX, a wall of buzzing sub bass hits the low end and rounds off with an old school pitch bend. The dulcet collage is brought together with some superb drum drops that keep proceedings moving. A conscious piece of music. DREAMZ Startling reggae box FX, picked guitar and atmospheric organ chords gives Dreamz a bright start. Pacy, percussive beats take up the baton, guided by a metallic, compressed front snare and a booming 808 bassline. All the while, a myriad of analogue blips and pieces burst to the surface. A bouncing keyboard riff rounds things off. The classic vibe presented with new skool pressure.
