I've always preferred the Timo Maas remix of Special K on this vinyl. It is an absolutely beautifully constructed piece of progressive house music, and I think one of Timo's finest moments. An understated yet melodic bassline bubbles away just under the surface with light sweeping synths and some lovely sparse piano tinkles later on, while Brian Molko's vocals provide an almost emotional edge without being irritating or cheesy. This is a track that is lovely to listen to while chilling out, but I can imagine that in the club atmosphere it would truly shine. A true progressive classic, and one that will endure for years to come.

What a great review. On the strength of it, I will be purchasing the 12" with that mix on, and playing it very, very loud!
