The Speed Freak - The Best Of 25 Years (1992-2017) FLAC download

Sample genius Martin Damm has now been around for over 2 decades and has used a myriad of aliases each for a different sound, just like Marc Acardipane. Now, as good as tracklist above can be, there is no way that a one disc set can do justice to his mountain of work in 25 years. It looks to me more what the compiler could get in hand rather than his best. The oldest track is from 1994 and the second oldest is from 2002, meaning that there is nothing from the 90's. A two disc set was the very minimum that should have been put out instead. However this goes without mentioning his remix work, if we had to include this then the minimum would be a 2-disc set of his own material and at least one disc of remixes which mostly were as good as his original work.However the flow is not bad, and even though there is a huge pothole from the 90’s it somehow still gives a nice overview of his evolution. So even if you have all these tracks you should still own this. Also thumbs up for ZYX for releasing hardcore albums from artist like Speed Freak, DJ Dione and Rotterdam Terror Corps since this means they will be distributed widely and prices will remain fair.
