This is acid done right. Ely is by far the better of the two tracks on this EP. The overdriven kick, the distorted synth, the steeldrum: I don't know why, but it works. Arguably the best techno acid track of this decade.Squatter's Dog has the regrettable honor of being on the same EP. after hearing Ely, I think that everyone can agree that this misses the feel and energy of the track featured on the other side of the record.
