I'm no Hard House expert, but these tracks, while maintaining the usual hard stomping beats, have rather unusual samples for the genre (certainly in 2001 when this was released). From catchy world music vocals (not sure of their origin...) in African Soul, to bouncing Latin piano and singing in Merenswing. The Tekno.Com track "Disk Jockey" is there for something more classic, but even that has eerie swooping sounds, like some dive-bombing bird of prey. "Get Ready" almost feels like some cavernous dark techno-soca. All in all, for the genre, this has five very different tracks (other than that relentless Hard House kick-drum of course...).
