Toyland is a great poppy feel good, psychedelic bubblegum type song. The correct name of the group is "The Alan Bown".

I, along with many others, missed this single when it came out. It's not typical of his work [ certainly not his later stuff] but it is in my opinion one of the best singles that came out in the late 60's. Discogs provide a chance to listen to this on their release page. Please do so.
