Jolin - Magic FLAC download

Although this bootleg shares its title with Jolin's 2003 album, the material that is collected here is actually culled from a few albums, including Magic and 2000's Show Your Love. Most of that material is at least very adequate, though the fact that it's culled from the album contexts and all plunged together on two lengthy discs actually does it a disservice. Jolin has a great number of excellent ballads in her repertoire, but at the rate at which they're flung at you on these discs they tend to blend together a bit, which is a shame. For that reason I'd suggest checking out the individual albums. That said, the material still at the very least adequate, and a lot of it is even better. It's especially the dance tracks that stand out here, with 1-11 (愛上了一條街 - Love That Street, poorly translated into Love A Last Street here) as the absolute highlight. All in all, it's a bit too much of a good thing, this bootleg compilation, but it's still a good thing.
