Personally, this is really the record I wanted and expected, sort of, Noise Tape Self to be. An album mostly comprised of shortwave radio frequencies and related analogue audio junk. Listening to this, I cannot help but be reminded of the pioneers of Italian industrial/noise music. Particularly the works of Maurizio Bianchi and Mauthausen Orchestra, whose darkly obscured gritty soundscapes this album nicely taps into. But this is no imitation but a great noise album on its own right.
