For all you Millenials, if you want to understand Deep House, get The Murder Track. That bridged the gap from NY Garage to Deep House. I was there.

Perhaps the proto-UK garage/2steppish "Latino Way" was more advanced at the time, but it hasn't aged that well imo and I think that the standout track after all these years remains "The Murder Track", another gem from the golden years of NYC house, high class subtly dubby wandering hypnotic deep house voyage that could easily stand the test with Mood II Swing's classic EPs from the same era on Groove On, Nite Grooves or King Street, which sets the quality level of this beautiful baby.

Mike Delgado helped shaping the New York Garage along side Todd Terry & Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales. 'Latino Way (I Can Feel It) is the true eccence of it. It has funk and groove and best thing about it is the Vintage sound of it. The vintage B-Line, The vinatge beats, the vintage rhode organ and the vintage Vocal-sample, everything is vintage. And the tune rocks the floor up & down everytime. A record i drop with pride. Thank you Mike, for never loosin' the funk!
