Just been spinning DUB2 , and had to leave a comment . what an outstanding lost track this is, rarely does anyone play it or mention it . a hacienda / basics era tune . driving bassline , warm pads and a solid crystal clear production . love it .

I remember reading a magazine article in the early nineties where Bruce Forest was lamenting how record companies had a habit of dumping dreadful records on producers & expecting a miracle.If ever there was an example of exactly that, then here it is. The original versions of this are truly dreadful, but Bruce Forest's "Dub 2" remix really is an absolute tour de force. Still to this day that bassline sends shivers up my spine. The soaring synths & pianos are stupendous. This was the soundtrack to my life throughout much of 1991 but for some reason it never crossed over or got mainstream recognition in the way that other, inferior club tracks around the same time did.If ever you needed proof of that, have a look at the Discogs entry for Toxic Two's predictable & dreadfully produced "Rave Generator": it's been added to numerous Lists & has several enthusiastic reviews & comments, yet this has nothing until now.
It's so easy
Big track at the Sub Club Atlantis nights ih Glasgow for Orde, Stuart and Harri. Immense track at the time and still sounds great now!
