Let's Go Outside's second album, CONVERSATIONS WITH MY INVISIBLE FRIENDS, takes them in a more dancefloor-friendly direction. Though it starts off with with the Jimmy Edgar-style electro of "I See You Dancing," the rest of the album goes directly into 4/4 tech-house. "Machismo," for instance, sounds almost Chicago-deep in its groove, while "Amici Invisibili" and "Let Us Pray" go off on a more blippy course. "Emergence" definitely has a laidback tech-house feel, while "Sunday Morning in the Church of Bass" goes for a more aggressive rhythm and sound, with a few angular disco flourishes. The swirling lines of "Giving You Up" become a whirlpool of sound, and the vocals make it sound almost like a DIRTY DANCING-era Swayzak track. "Leave Me With Sweet Memories" ends on a pure tech note. So while this album isn't as diverse as their first, it still leaves you with a groove in your feet.
