Its a song to really move your ass too. Those of us who remember early 90s can appreciate a great song like this...

Moog Addiction is the real killer here. Prodigy mix has gotta be one of their weakest tracks from back in the day. It's quite clunky and dated, the Anthem Mix is much better imo. However I went to an oldskool rave recently and the younger crowd really didn't go for the Anthem Mix, although the older folks (ie. those who "were there" in '92) loved it. The piano and vocal are very uplifting but I don't think it has aged too well. Anyway, back to Moog Addiction -- what a whopper of a tune with great samples (that vocoded "Energize" is a personal favourite) and solid structure. Powerful stuff!!!

This was yet another hell raiser with the Prodigy providing a killer remix, although it was not the first effort from them that got huge dance floor success. Their very first release in Feb 1991 contained the all time classic "Android" which was curiously a B side track, and massively popular everywhere it was played, and has since been reissued and illegally repressed at least twice due to high demand. Then in August 1991 Charly was released, which had another B side belter of a track in "Your Love". There was of course other popular releases from them around this time(Everybody In The Place), but by the time this remix of "Take Me" came around and blew everyone away, they had pulled off a trifecta of ground-breaking classics which defined their style and formed the basis for their runaway success in years to come.

Classic track. One of the major rave anthems for 1992, and most likely the tune that established The Prodigy in the arena because of their wicked remix.
