This record sounds very much like it could have been written and produced by Chicane. It has the exact same kind of bassline and interjecting elements. It is a nice, smooth, positive piece of progressive house / progressive trance from that kind of era. If you liked Chicane's early stuff, like "lost you somewhere", then I'm sure you'd like this. It has the classic bubbling bass, the sweeping strings, twirly top lines, interjected vocals (spelling out New York), piano stabs here and there, cymbal crashes, build ups, drop downs, it is all there. The two sides are not that much different in my view. They just seem to be structured a little differently, otherwise you'd not really tell which side is which.

A rare gem of trancey house from the USA of all places! A beautiful melody and overall positive vibe throughout, although I prefer the Original Mix to the B-side.No information seems to exist online about the producers of this record. If anyone knows anything more about the producers, songs they made before/after this one or under another alias I'd love to know about it!
