Wonderful and warm record managing to balance electronics and acoustic (without sounding too much like a knob)shoe gaze sounds, lovely melodies and songs (in and out). Could have been huge ( well sold enough for a comeback by now) Usual awful sleeve from type 'it's called 'handwriting' let's have some scratchy handwriting over a font' - actually it's the worst sleeve

A perfect marriage of acoustic guitar and electronic sounds. How anyone could microproduce something this rich and maintain such an organic sound is a mastery that takes years yet he was just a kid when he dropped this transcendental album. File Under: wise music from a snot nosed kid

The catalogue number of this test pressing should read Type003LP, same as the full release.

Khonnor's odd, haunting, HANDWRITING, starts with the static of "Man From The Anthill," which quickly swoons into a slide guitar and his own lyrical ramblings, but as the layers starts to build on "Daylight And Delight," he takes a turn towards shoegaze. He alters his voice for the pitched-up "Megans Present" but keeps it relatively simple and untouched for "Dusty." But it's the electronic march of "Crapstone" that shows off his talent at merging the indie and electronic worlds, with "A Little Secret" even bringing in elements of drill'n'bass. But the simpler "Phone Calls From You" carries so much heartbreak that it pierces the veins. The echoing "Screen Love, Space, And The Time Man" sounds as if it could have come out of a 60s soundtrack, while the final track, "Tattletalent (Encore)," ends with some Tim Hecker-like refractions. You don't need a graphologist is enjoy this handwriting.

I swear there's a sample of Bjork's "Possibly Maybe" in here. But I think that's what this is, the kid raided his record collection for samples and warped them all into this masterpiece.
