If you like/love THE WHO's "Live at Leeds", buy it as a 1 ( ONE ) lp/VINYL OR AS A ONE ( 1 ) CD !Extended versions are just not what made "Live at Leeds" such an epic LP/vinyl: extended versions are just about getting more money our of punters !!!

ok, now that this has been reprinted recently at an honest price : pristine sound, one of the rare "recent" records without hiss and very good cymbals sound ! be warned, the paper printed sleeves leave a lot of white sh*t on the records, just clean them and you'll have noise/pop-free records. the only downpoint is that my copy arrived with record#3 slightly warped (thankfully it plays well)

I'll start off by saying that I saw the American leg of this tour at the Spectrum in Philadelphia and have owned the original LP since it was new, wore it out, bought the early CD version, even remastered a couple of songs off the CD yada so I'm very familiar with the material. I've also been playing MFSL half speeds since they opened their shop. With all that, I am not disappointed with this album at any level. Except one. There was a great deal of dust and those nasty little paper particles that turn into cement if you don't get rid of them. For that I feel very fortunate to have a VPI to properly clean them before playing. Otherwise the sound and pressing quality is top notch and nothing is left to be desired. Worth the time for any Who fan, especially if you were there then.

this is a decent 3 lp half speed master, this opens up into a six panel sleeve with photos of vintage newspaper clips regarding this live album from 1970, the discs are half speed and the package is beautiful but i must admit i feel releases like this are getting a bit out of hand as i feel with vinyl back now again this is just another way to re sell the same records over again, regardless of that opinion this is a very nice package!!!!!!!!...... ps becouse it is vinyl and not cd that is why there was probably no room for the between songs banter, that is just my guess becouse with the compact disc form there is always more room for that stuff, it could have been done here but then this would have had to be a 4 lp set instead of three................i still love my original first uk pressing from 1970 though i own probably a good 20 different versions of this record.........

Yep, I can confirm that the stage banter is present in full on this 3LP version. Quality release by the way, although the records require cleaning before spinning.

I don't have the CD version of this release to compare but there is a lot of in between banter included on this vinyl release. Long passages in fact. Confused.

those track times are what is specified on the back sleeve. Surely, that excludes inbetween song banter, especially on side A/B
