Remix Instrumental is an Instrumental Hip-Hop gem and the only reason to own this LP. If you care about the vocals, the Remix Version is good only up to 2pac's rapping, for some reason 2Pac's verse always sounded out of place, it looks like it was added in after 2pac's death just to cash in. If you care about the vocal version, Scarface's Greatest Hits album from 2002 includes the Remix Version but in an edited form, it basically takes out 2Pac's part which I think how this was meant to be originally. Keep in mind that on the Greatest Hits comp there is no mention of Homies & Thuggs being the remix but in fact it is the remix version clocking at 3:53.

How terrible can the original version be? I guess the main reason why Scarface sucked for a moment was terrible beat choices like that. Too bad they didn't clean Mr. Miller's usual moans and unghhhs away when they remixed it because the remix beat is really nice, I just can't stand anything Master P has done after 1997. :)
