All about the B side for me Love the Golden Hen ripping Tenor saw samples absolute banger , personally Scottie doesn't do it for me and prefer the Ray Keith remixes

Great drum programing? Yes .

As said before, it's all about Scotties Sub, a malevolent dark twisted bit of early drum and bass with such clever and innovate drum beats that are layered and reversed to great, nay, amazing affect! Waaaay ahead of its time and sounds timeless. Absolute quality, and yes, buy on sight

If you were dancing to Jungle in the early 90s, you tripped da F%^k out on xtc to this.... we're all gonna die here!

Scotties Sub or simply 'Scottie' as it went on to be known, is a classic.Sounds like it should have been made a year or maybe two years later when the whole tough, more ragga twinged jungle sound emerged. It must be made up of only 5 maybe 6 tracks but its minimal genius.Ahead of its time it features some creative amen chops neatly laid behind the man break that drives the tune along.Simple but effective sub bass but probably the most famous aspect of the tune are the inclusions of the samples lifted from the 80's black comedy / horror 'Evil Dead.Cries of 'Scottie!', 'I dont wanna die' and evil demonic laughing make this tune. The flipside 'Golden Hen' is a skanking ragga jungle work out, it is stupidly fast and must be over 180bpm which is also pretty nuts considering it was only released 1993. Not a big fan of this side myself but thats not why I tracked it down.

The “b-side” Scottie’s sub for me contains without doubt some of the most original and innovative chopping and layering of breaks ever used, especially so early on in the scene. A true boundary pushing, hard as nails, quality, drum & bass track. Never heard anything from these two producers since, they just seemed to vanish! This is a very rare piece of vinyl, buy it on sight, you will NOT be disappointed!
