Positive Acid is a pretty special track, it can be described as a series of acid peaks/crescendo's where the acid reaches a peak with what sounds to me like a sustained note over the top of the main 303 sequence. there are about 4 peaks and troughs or ebbs and flow's & there is a lot of tweaking of the frequencies, especially the resonance and cutoff during the solid 9 minutes the track lasts & all painted over with a very lush lead melody during certain sections.Normal acid is to my ears an early rave track with a pounding kick, aside from what sounds to me like some production faults where the kicks sound a little unsteady at times is still a very good track.
