Jeez Louise, what ridiculous prices these are going for. Literally a year or two ago NO ONE cared about this record. Must be a case of the current, trendy breakbeat revival in the underground house/techno scene...

Granted 'To A Nation Rockin' is the core at what makes this a great release but 'Stone Skippin' was something totally different at what was being released during this time period. Gavin Hardkiss made good use of this track on his Mix CD "Weekend" Catalog#: HKS 19003-2. He uses the best part of the track (Beginning and middle) and avoids the end by bringing in another wonderful track TC 1995 - Just Get Up And Dance (Sure Is Pure Remix). If you don't have this vinyl, you should get it. Pure Gold!

A1 is fun, but the last half of the track comes of quite dated today. A2 showed up on some Chemical Brothers mixes around the time, and got a lot of exposure. It's a great break, vocoded voice chanting the record's name. Heavy long drum roll leads to the climax of the track. If I recall, the b side is a Peter Tall aka Bassbin twins mix. It's long, but still pretty good (edit 2017 - Peter Tall mix is on the Green Line Acid record)
