With this single, Cathedral reach back into the past for a sound that is not too far away from the Forest of Equilibrium LP. The guitars are heavy, and slower than we have heard them in a while. There is barely a hint of their recent forays into stoner groove rock. The only downfall is the lackluster recording on a format that is not generally known for great fidelty. Maybe one day these tracks will be remastered and made more widely available.
