SEKI DO BOMBAST and the dynamic in a cold mechanical way. Their great "wall of sound banshee" is for the most part a shapeless droning drag. Too few of their songs keep a delicate balance of composition - "To Dig A Child's Grave" followed by its antecedent "Black Dada Nihilism" - employ hints of something greater than the formalism they appear content to wallow in. Stoned and lifeless (like HURL without the hooks), ex-HUGH guitarist Bayete Henderson and Joe Jeon of THE KEON CREST ESTATE, are not the first in the post-SLINT era to deliver a dud. Let's hope the next time out they'll give us something better to remember them by....
