Okay, this is a vaudeville-style musical revue with a medical theme. The Singing Doctors are just that. Doctors who sing. This might sound absolutely horrible, but, trust me, it's not that bad. It's a live recording from some medical conference back in the 60's or whenever this "band" existed. Thematically they tend to gravitate towards subjects relating to sexuality, especially female sexuality. Lots of nudging and winking when talking about nurses. These guys definitely saw tons of action when they were on the road. Their tour van most likely smelt of weed, pussy and penicillin. But let's not let their personal lives overshadow the brilliance that is, "On Stage." "Fibroid Tumor" is an instant classic and "Halitosis Beats No Breath At All" invokes that spark of creativity that embodies wondrous majesty of the human spirit.
