I had them all my friend and most are from bad sources I checked sound quality and spectrograms I sold the whole lot in bulk for cheap after going through half a dozen there were too many that were from lossy source after I found a fair amount that were like it I took no more chances and got rid of them all.There maybe some from good sources and I happened to check the ones that were badly ripped I wasn't happy.this company should state if they are sourced from vinyl or MP3 either way some were not even rare and are easily found on abundance of compilations and CD singles so there is no excuse.ultra rare ones that had to be ripped from vinyl I can understand but lossy mp3 transcodes no way.

Exactly i have had so many of these throw away compilations some tracks have sound quality that really really is disgraceful and unacceptable. I recommend these when on sale for £0.01p for the younger generations in help in obtaining information regarding artists or tracks to discover then finding alternative cds for better quality recordings and chucking these.

I have to agree. Whilst a bargain may be a bargain sadly most of these box sets do seem to be of poor quality. Joe public wouldn't notice a damn thing, but when I've compared tracks to originals on either vinyl or CD the quality issue is quite evident.
