I'm not opposed to the removal of promo, since the LP does not have a stamp. I do know, from having purchased a large lot of LPs originating with an Ottawa radio station, that A&M Canada supplied them with promo LPs some of which were stamped, but those that were not had a neat circular 1/4" diameter punch hole in lieu of a stamp. I can also say from experience that deleted LPs generally have a cut corner, a cut slot or a ragged reamed hole, whereas these A&M promos were neatly punched with a tool individually and by hand (since the position of the hole varies from one LP to another).
