The track A1 is actually the track No Sense - No Reason on Female's sophmore LP. There, it is 05:14 minutes long, while the version here is only 02:59. That aside, it is basically the identical track. A2 corresponds to Looking Through The Eyes Of Love. Just as on the retail album, this one runs for about 05:15. And just as with the previous track, the "Prologue 2/3" cut is identical to the one on "Angel Plague". The B1 tune sounds an awful lot like Day In Day Out, one of my favorite cuts on Female's second album, and unlike the previous two tracks, it actually sounds like it's a re-worked version. Some elements from the album version are detectable, but it is different enough to have an overall fresh approach. Still, I much prefer the version which made its way to the album. B2 is a three minute and some change interlude, with a strong, really pumping and piercing bass line. Some seventy five seconds deep lighter melodies appear, and never leave until the whole thing just quietly fades out. Forgettable, but above all meaningless. Basically, this is for extreme Female completists only. If you are a dedicated admirer of his work, half of this 12" is available on his album, which is in my opinion more worth tracking down than this four tracker with demonstration versions. Best of all is that the two tracks which can be found on his album are the best ones here, so this should only serve as an optional luxury to complement "Angel Plague", which has more tracks in the pipe line along the lines of the side A tunes here.

for whatever it's worth, B2 is the standout track for methank you for the in-depth explanations of the "versions" on this release, it is quite helpful
