The track CE3 samples the "five tones" from the movie Close Encounters Of The Third Kind - both the human chanting at Dharmsala and the bass tones played by the UFO mothership. The title CE3 is a recognised abbreviation for "close encounters of the third kind" (the phenomenon, not the movie). Other UFO references in Lab 4 titles include the Alien tracks and the Blue Book release. They also previously released CE1 and CE2 on Choci's Chewns (CC 035).

Gribandis
The raw energy in REFORMATION II is unparallelled - arguably their best piece of work and from a time pre-dating their commercial success. Lab 4 have always had a serious edge to their vinyl and sleeve artwork - dark images that hint at the twisted genius that lies in the record's grooves. When Reformation II came out on this picture disc I was so happy I wanted to scream! I have played this track as the last tune at a number of hardhouse gigs and it always blows the roof up. Almost bangin techno until the twisted euphoric power of the main riff and always the underlying LAB4 industrial bleeps and crashy percussion. In my mind this record is priceless. I was lucky enough to play alongside them and got my copy of this record signed by them!

I was so happy to have got this record on 12" and it being a cool picture disc as well, this record realy is a great piece of art work. It feels great to hold it. I've always loved Lab-4 and this tune is a banging track, phat hard sound with a Lab-4 twist. All the work from Lab-4 is amazing stuff, they have realised the best hard trance and hard nrg ever. I've seen Lab-4 play twice before they ended it, when they fired up the sound, it was like a magic thunder storm of hard trance bliss, I could never stop danceing....Bring back the lab.

This track is sex on vinyl. Its fast and furious beat along with a brain frying riff makes you not want the tune to end, its absolutely insane and wouldnt expect anything more from adam and les to be fair. a tune of pure genious and a must have for any hard dance fan. infact any lab4 tune is a must lol ill never forget when lab4 played this as their last tune at global 2006 the whole arena went mental it was a moment to treasure. :)
