Though remastered, this release's mix is quite a bit flatter compared to some earlier releases such as this one: https://www.discogs.com/James-Brown-Live-And-Lowdown-At-The-Apollo-Vol1/release/1728201I much prefer the sound of the latter. The purple is pretty, though.
