Arthunter
Mike Oldfield's second album, and widely considered to be less successful than Tubular Bells, nevertheless it is my favourite album of his. The music is more introspective and densely textured and layered, with a nod to minimalism (a concept and genre that Mike will return again and again in his work). The original pressing LP contains his original mix which is far superior to the Quad mix that he did for the Boxed set which is quite muddy.
