For me this is all about the acid of the Force Mass Motion mix. Perfect frequencies and energy to flush the serotonin out.

The mayday 92 anthem, this alone says enough about the release. There would be few tracks that could have filled that position back then. This caused absolute devastation when that riff kicked in!!! Some of the sounds were pretty fresh at the time and I personally love the techno aspects of it. In my opinion the hardcore/techno genre hit a peak with the likes of this and marushas rave channel before splitting into genres like gabba etc. Sounds dated now obviously but still deserves your full appreciation for what it did back then. As for the gem Mr Peanut on the reverse, simple qualities with very effective percussion that carries the track. An truly underrated and absolute cracking example of early 92 techno that mixes very well with hawtins 92 numbers. Westbams finest moment!

The "official" Anthem of the '92 Mayday party, a Rave originally promoted two years prior, to raise funds to start renting the premises (read: squat) for an east-German pirate Radiostation after West German Developers bought it after the Wall fell. (hence "Mayday" ie: need help, not because of the 1st of May Festival) By '92 'Mayday " was bigger than Jesus and a small party for >120 people to scam some coin donations, turned into Multi-Millions in a space of less than two years ! Easy, textbook Rave with a catchy hook did that, (mayday..mayday..may...) kinda like the title track . "MrPeanut" is just that: a peanut that you have forgotten to get from under the couch for years. Sample-Laden Rave Techno - nothing memorable.
