This has to be one of the finest tracks of its generation. Goes largely unsung, as with most Weatherall productions, never getting the acclaim it deserves. Cannot understand why some shite Detroit track goes for £100 when this doesn't, what a fickle lot we are. The remix is....enough said

Lovely little dreamy downtempo 7". The beatless mix was heard on the Orange (UK cellphone/mobile provider) commercial on TV and featured on pretty much all the chillout CD compilations. Trippy stuff - can't remember how I picked this up, nice addition to my collection.

Memories of Pete Tong playing this on the Essential Selection in late 93. David Holmes remix was the mix i heard initially.Emotive stuff indeed.

It's a shame that his finest moment was also his most rotten. 'His' biggest track is also his biggest lie, and it will probably haunt him posthumously.

Nope, those who took the time to look at the writer which is in plain view knew who wrote it, Andy hid nothing.
Jeronashe
David Holmes remix takes it somewhere else entirely though especially when it breaks down into what sounds like an Orange Day parade at the end...

This track is amazing and has much better production qualities but it is a straightforward rip off of the original and it seems a bit shit not properly giving credit to the originatorhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp1N0iArsuUThis was one of weatherall's finest moments, there are so many others.
Snake Rocking
He was credited on every single release that Andy had control over.

Yes, its a total classic, and yes, Its loved by every one (myself included). At the time of release it reminded everyone that house could be an art form and not just a thing to dance to in clubs.Weatherall pointed the way to the original spirit of early house, but kept it fresh and modern....but lets not forget that its basically a (better produced, better realized) version of this bit of Old Skool-ness;The true story Of house music (Nu Groove). Its the track called "New Age Bonus Track.http://www.discogs.com/Prince-Of-Dance-Music-The-LB-Bad-The-True-Story-Of-House-Music/release/80335

An electronic masterpiece and Andy Weatherall's finest moment. What a piece of music. This is electronic music that is almost Classical in it's sound. Incredibly moving, hypnotic and jaw drppingly beautiful. A legendary record that is one of the most essential pieces of Electronic music from the 90s. Respect Mr Weatherall.

dj2? Go DEEPER yo! Knowledge is king. You wrote, the hope, the past, the future, the struggle. Very close, actually its The SEA/BIRTH, The LAND/LIFE, & The STARS/FAITH IN HEAVEN (afterlife). The original song is in 3 parts, sounds change, atmosphere changes and the vibe of what the original writer/producer was going for is pretty much what YOU hear! Lovely song!
