Majistrate - Big Ting's / Run It FLAC download

pete.devnull, my copy has the same issue but almost to the point were you can hardly hear any of the tune, and the big tings side ( which is a wicked a tune) has slight dips in the snare quality at the begining and here and there throughout. ive heard some copies are better than others. some issue with the pressing. guess you just got to take a lucky dip

anyone got this for a reasonable price? dunno how anyone is justifying selling a good plus copy for £17...

Lovely tunes, but does anyone else's copy sound super low fi and distorted on the "Run It" side? like it's overloading without actually being that loud? Guessing it's a pressing fault.

just bought a copy. same issue. run it sound dreadful. big tings is okay but not amasing. even tho record is in very good plus condition

mine is the full label release. the one listed as "LEK 002" here...and it sounds amazing. the copy i saw in the store with this issue was also a full label release..maybe the different edition?.

it actually sounds like the grooves weren't pressed hard enough into the record? is that a thing?

The test press sounds PERFECT. I have the white label, and Run It sounds super clean.

Yep, one of my copies (while label if I remember correctly) does have this issue with 'Run It'. I have other copies (white or otherwise) that are perfectly fine though. I'd check the run out grooves to see which one has the distortion, but my records are in storage. Used to play the heavily distorted one at 33 over dub techno type stuff, and it actually adds some interesting elements.

i saw a copy in Play De Record that had that issue. Rumble's copy does the same thing.

Same for mine, and at least one more copy I've heard of. Seems to be a faulty pressing.
