One of the first house compilations I ever owned and back then it would have been on tape, no real records till the early 90's baby. Though there was hardly any acid on it, it didn't really matter as all the tracks were absolute gold.A1. Baby wants to ride. Legendary tune, we really don't want to say too much about this but this was probably the first time I heard this, ever. Though if we're honest we prefer Cold World.A2. Only the strong survive. We loved this Farley track and could imagine this rocking out the Warehouse on a Saturday night. Took us about twenty years to realise this was a disco cover.A3. Girl U need a change of mind. Paris Briteledge on vocals and a tight house beat, we believe its yet another disco cover but we loved this one too. Though at this point wondered were the acid was...A4. Acid Over. Here it is, and this along with the Romance track on side 2 was my favourite on the whole tape. Nasty acid jacking there, that wasn't really transfered through to the single versions of acid over (also on FFRR). B1. Freeman. Big Daryl Pandy on vocals here. You know what to expect, old garage house and nothing much else.B2. All Dis Music. Never knew who Romance was back in the day, but man this was a choon. Big old vocals here and a slamming track behind it, a favourite still to this day.B3. My House. They had a lot of tracks like this that turned up nowhere else, this is one of the better Farley house tracks released then.B4. Its Alright. Sterling Void, with another unreleased cut, not bad house and by this time we was not regretting that there was only one acid track on the whole tape.If you find it on LP or CD its well worth it for the old school house fan.
