Pressing: High noise floor. Sparkly gold vinyl is pretty but very noisy, particularly where-ever the sparkles have settled in waves. Unfortunate that this "limited" version never sold out and made it to a black pressing, as far as I can tell.Music: not bad. Weird, hope it gets weirder. Picked up partially because of good reviews rife with krautrock influences, involvement of musician Adrian Utley and producer Rob Ellis. Sonics are not bad. Vocal content is not bad. Partially-reluctant musical rock-opera/broadway influence, hope this is pushed further, along with more weird-music influences, in future releases. See why this was picked up by 4AD on paper, also see why this doesn't really fit with 4AD in practice.

Double check the sleeve, I was just going to say I didn't have one but I double checked andfound a voucher for download tucked away in there and my copy was bought from a physical store!
