I cannot say that I was ever on the wave of N.E.R.D. when The Neptunes sound dominated the charts in the late 90's, hell, I was still in diapers. No matter though, "No One_ Ever Really Dies" is proof that it was more than time for a new N.E.R.D. record. Not as focused on love ballads, this is the type of Pharell that I crave on a record. The braggadociousness, the unfiltered thought process that is unflinching in the face of lies, and of course - those instrumentals. The Neptunes still at the top of their game 20 years removed from when they first began working with each other, their spacey , futuristic Star Trak's being graced over by thought provoking MC's like 3 Stacks and Kendrick and even being able to make Future sound listenable on a track like "1000". "Lemonade" may have been able to get Rihanna and plenty others to twerk to it, whether it does for you or not , "No One Ever Really Dies" is a testament that N.E.R.D. has something to offer to the vibrational landscape that is fresh, relevant and still past the stars while being universally moving.
Sorryyy
Don't you guys think there should be another release of this for the copies with the orange vynil?
Bil
Great sounding LPs. One is black and one is orange, no noticeable difference in quality between them.
Maldarbaq
the most disappointing vinyl pressing I have received. the quality is horrendous and it skips on every track. I got the black edition from the nerd website and it sucks
skyjettttt
Really impressed by the sound of these vinyls, they took the time but did it properly !

? my download url doesn't work. anyone else had this problem?

One of the best sounding pressings I've purchased recently! Sounds great all the way through. No issues to report at all. Mine came with 2 black discs, not sure how many of disc 2 on orange vinyl are out there.
Throw her heart
Anyone else just got an email to say release has been pushed back again?

It appears that they are starting to ship. I just received my copy in the mail today through Fatbeats.

My copy arrived in the mail today, so they must have started shipping already.

Yep I did too. Think it said 30th March is the new release date. Not sure how people are listing as having copies?

I wish there was an album release that had the cover art on it...

That non cover actually sold me the record lmao, call me hipster, I didn’t like the CD cover that’s why I didn’t cope it :) my disc 2 is black tho :’(

sab264 I wish there was an album release that had the cover art on it... This seems to be kind of a throwback to the dead days of vinyl in the late 90s and early 2000s when many hip-hop/R&B albums came in plain black sleeves with a sticker on the front. "Baduizm" by Erykah Badu as well as reissues by Mobb Deep and Raekwon came packaged like this. I think the labels just didn't bother because they expected it would mostly be DJ's buying these records. I'm not sure why N.E.R.D went down this route.
