The label is based in Athens, the entitled song’s composer is German, and the other three remixers are Australian, German and Greek. All of this is, of course, absolutely unimportant about the pure music itself; which is real a dance-floor bomb, even compared to its slow tempo. However, this leash of speed on hold creates that pace, what makes such an energy level in the song, that one can hardly stand still of head nodding while hearing it. Exception goes for Razoof’s remix. That one is a perfect choice to kickstart the night with, or to end it up - whenever we might be in the mood of listening to soft, but spaced out 4/4 with airy sax plays. Omegaman and Basement Freaks have remained true to the original concept of the track - sometimes coloring it, sometimes using less elements. No wonder this slower uptempo funk-break with its hip-hop flow has worked for everyone. I truly hope people will pay attention to it. The music is phenomenal, the release is digital and its success is - I wish - global.
