John Creamer & Stephane K - is the mix on this 12", creating and amazing / House progressive version of this track that still sounds great today. Simplistic beats, just the right amount of use of the synth loop that allows the to float over the top leading the remix, whist injecting just the right amount of energy.

What a nice record.The A-Side remix is just the original track played a bit slower but with extra drums and bassline. So basically, it's a Hide U house version which contains most of the nice elements from the original version.The distinctive sound and the unique bassline of the B-Side give it away: It's clearly a Faithless based production which isnt exactly groundbreaking but still quite entertaining.4/5 from me, mainly for being a very "useful" record.

"Hide U" Is such a classic tune. I love these lyrics and the minimal singing. Both these remixes are very low-key with not much build-up or drop, but pulls it off. I normally don't like that, but it fits with this tune. The less melody and drums makes it easy to drop in behind another tune as well. It allows you to put the lyrics to nearly any track. Sounds great. The remixes are nearly identical in composition, only different in tempo. I bought it mainly for the 170 bpm remix since I typically spin drum and bass, but the flipside is a decent downtempo version too. There's a lot of versions of this tune and this is one of the better ones I've heard.

I remember distinctly when I first heard this track, a full year before it became such a huge hit. I had just gotten back from Zurich and went straight to the open-air party of a Vienna Film Production company. Peter Kruder was on the Decks and doing fine, but playing nothing I particularly cared for. This was the one and only track I danced to. And for 6 months I simply could not find out what the hell it was until I heard it on the radio one afternoon. Anyways, I finally saw them live a year later, they were horrible, just plain overblown Synthie-D&B-Pop garbage, and that pretty much settled that :)
