After escaping The Magic Band, Jeff Cotton aka Antennae Jimmy Semens, formed a band with Merrell Fankhauser and two other friends. They decided living in a beach house in a remote tropical location, creating amazing music and enjoying life was the right decision at the time...oh yeah it turned out pretty well. They made this awesome raw album full of slippery guitars, ocean wave drums and shiny vocals. Jeff Cotton even brings out the bass clarinet on a few tracks making the songs even more distinct and beautiful. You can really tell how happy these guys were, and how in-tune they were with each other and their surroundings. If you enjoy Mallard (featuring other Magic Band members), Captain Beefheart or anything from the late 60's-early70's, then you will LOVE this. Revel in the joy that is MU.
