I picked this up for £1 in an indie shop around the time it was released (finished promo copy, I guess) and took a punt. Wise choice, certainly at that price, as it turns out it's on a label (Loser Friendly Records) run by Kate Holmes (AKA Mrs Alan McGee, and of Frazier Chorus/Sirenes/Technique/Client fame) and it's produced by The Zip (AKA Liam Howe, of Sneaker Pimps fame). It's female vocal led, and full of unaffected, emotionless and detached electronic ditties. They occasionally allow a little groove into the pattern (I Get Lifted), which makes the album a little more rounded and holds your ear's attention. The odd German language track and/or lullaby-esque offering brings charm and character, also.
